Je présente le cas d’une femme qui a maille à partir avec son mari dont elle se plaint, indiquant au contrôleur un détail qui s’impose : l’apparition d’une mauvaise humeur à mon encontre. Qu’ai-je fait ? Le contrôleur attrape au vol le fait que j’ai souligné à l’analysante les raisons que pourrait avoir son mari dans cette querelle. Il dit : « Ne jamais intervenir sur le partenaire d’un sujet ! » Lors d’un second contrôle, relayant cette fois-ci un peu trop la plainte de l’analysante concernant sa mère, il dit : « Ne vous mêlez pas de sa vie amoureuse ! » Certes, sous le mari opérait une liaison inconsciente à la mère, mais si le partenaire peut être symptôme ou ravage, il n’est certainement pas le personnage de la réalité du sujet.

I present the case of a woman who was arguing with her husband and complaining about him. I indicated to the supervisor a detail that stood out: the appearance of a bad mood towards me. What have I done? The supervisor picks up on the fact that I pointed out to the analysand the reasons her husband might have for the quarrel. He said, “Never interfere with a subject's partner!” At a second supervision, this time relaying a little too much the analysand's complaint about her mother, he says: “Don't meddle in her love life!” Behind the husband was an unconscious relation with the mother, that is clear, but, if the partner can be a symptom or a ravage, he is certainly not the person in the subject's reality.
